Which of the Jazz reissues is the closest to the original, TFC or Encore?

He needs a ladder, but that can be fixed.
Spike & Sparkplug, not so much.

It's a shame that E-Hobby won't do a G2 variation for the Encore lines.
Just out of curiosity, what are you using for your lightbox? I'm currently taking photos of my Citadel Miniatures collection (some for sale, others for promotional since I'm thinking of starting up doing commissions)

They seem to be better viewed from a distance.

Ps - Seibertron\Ryan. The smilies link for that icon [above] doesn't work. I used an [img] code link for it.

The burgundy is just sublime, though. They use so many shades of cherry red\pink these days, its shocking. Why don't they just use a deep orange like in G1?

Actually Spike and Sparkplug are awesome. They are really small, so you can't really make out their feture with the naked eye. In the pics they are zoomed in on a ton. They look waaaay better in person.

I'd like to see you paint figures that size and have them come out perfect.
Spike and Sparkplug are under an inch tall. Additionally when seen normally (without the 12x macro zoom lens) you probably won't even be able to tell there anything wrong with them.
They are good for what they are meant to be.
Loving Inferno.

Those pics of the Witwickys are only zoomed in a little bit. It's the fact that I crop all of the large photos for this site that makes the images so large and brings out the detail so much. I think my camera is a 7 mega pixel. I love how it let's you see things on small figures that you would otherwise never notice. For size comparisons, you guys should look at the pics of the Witwickys with Optimus Prime.

The Witwickys are made by Impossible Toys. The City Commander set is from FansProject. Two totally different companies. The Witwicky figures are about as good as you'll get with that much detail on figures that tiny.

My mistake. Still the size of the raw images allows for the final cropped images to have that level of quality where you can see the fine detail on the tiny figures.
I'm sure those paint bleeds, and Spike's nose deal, are very hard to even make out if you are just looking at them normally.
And yes, forgot to say they are different companies.

Totally cannot make out the features even when squinting from an inch away. They are an awesome little pair of figures, complete with mini removable hard hats and wrenches. I think I paid like 20 bucks for them at Botcon a couple of years ago. Totaly worth every penny and highly recommended.
