Left: Cannon Bumblebee (version 1 w/ blue painted windows)
Right: Cannon Bumblebee (version 2 w/ clear windows)
I'm trying to find out if mine is deformed or if the changed/fixed head is a running change along with the clear windows.

He's a Decepticon so he should be giving out purple nurples.

they do look the same, wished they had used the premium Barricade for this though

My Cannon Bumblebee figure has the opaque blue-painted windows like the one of the left with the well-defined head sculpt and paint aps of the one on the right. I think, unfortunately, you may just have a figure with a defective casting or paint job for the head.

I may have to get cannon BB now after seeing this, I like the arms and poseable hands!

I don't think the painted windows ensure the better head sculpt, though. Seibertron's painted windows Cannon Bumblebee has the "defective" head, while mine instead (also with painted windows) has the head with much better detailing and paint apps. My guess is that either Seibertron ended up with a fluke factory error, or there is a batch of Cannon Bumblebees out there with a mold casting problem for the head, perhaps limited to the painted windows version, but not necessarily found in ALL such versions.

!
True, Barricade is a poor choice for a figure since apparently he wasn't even in the movie (which makes me sad), but I have to say that interrogators across the armed forces have adopted the little guy. He's probably in every 'gator pit in operation. Can't beat that.
HK, no, I do not also come with 'snap on probe arms'.

I think i'm going to wait and get the HA version of Barricade instead

I've got the pearl windows and the normal looking noggin on mine.
Looks like you just got a one off error.

And why is there a remold of a remold of a remold of a repaint? This is version 6 of
the 2009 camaro bumblebee isn't it?
Well, he does look a lot better then the first movie2 bumblebee, but I do kind of mis
him having a... cannon

It refers to the cannons coming from the sides of the hood.
Let me check how many versions we've had:
1a. Camaro Concept Bumblebee
1b. Cliffjumper
1c. Screen Battles Bumblebee (grey limbs)
2a. Stealth Bumblebee
2b. Premium Series Bumblebee
3. RotF Bumblebee
4. Cannon Bumblebee

Why this is still being debated I don't understand. The head and body don't look anything like Barricade. They look more like a protoform. And also seconds before at least one protoform comes blasting down from space after Soundwave traced the Witwicky's location. Why would there be protoforms coming down and why would Barricade already happen to be there? The idea that that was Barricade is merely wishful thinking by some, until someone provides decent evidence otherwise, in movie terms.

I heard it was Rampage in protoform and then in the desert, rampage tran-scanned the bulldozer while waiting for starscream to execute his plan.

Think about it: Why would they make a toy for him? I know there are lots of toys coming out right now that have no movie presence, but I've yet to see a new Bonecrusher or Brawl figure. Yet we have Megsy, Screamer, Grindor (who is really Blackout, just sayin'), and *Barricade* recycled from the last film?
It's like the Arcees. Think I read somewhere that they were supposed to combine at some point in the film and that idea got dropped, hence all this confusion about the toys.
I'd give anything (okay not *anything*, but, you know) to see the script evolution from preliminary to shooting script. I strongly suspect our boy 'Cade got to interrogate someone somewhere along the line.
HK, right now he's using his 'probe arms' to hold my pen.

Actually both Bonecrusher and Brawl's deluxe figures are making their reappearance in stores. Already seen Brawl hanging out with his ROTF friends on the pegs. Simply natural that Hasbro would exploit the Barricade mold as well, because it's not about making sense, it's about making as much money as they can while this iron is burning hot.
To be honest, the only decepticon not reappearing as a toy from the first movie seems to be Frenzy. Scorpy, Brawl, Bones, Megs, Barricade, "Blackout", Screamer - all check.
I'd just like to say that I was extremely disappointed he wasn't in the film. I've been wanting to see this "thread to the sequel" about Barricade ever since the first one neglected us. The fact we didn't get Barricade at all speaks volumes about them not listening. He was very much my favorite Con in the first film.

Why does it matter? Do we really need to know the identity of the robot, who had a screen time of only 10 seconds at best? I'll give you two words: random protoform and also, cannon fodder.
Also, here's this: In the movie Grindor transforms into a helicopter of different make (a Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion, instead of the MH-53 Pave Low for Blackout), so they're not the same even if the toys are. So Blackout's dead, and Bonecrusher never reappeared as a toy, unless you take overstock into account (I'm not taking the Robot Heroes into account either).
