Super Megatron of
TFW2005 reports that online retailers are being told by thier Japanese suppliers that Takara's BT-17 Ginrai and BTA-04 Black Convoy have been cancelled.
As yet this rumour has not been confirmed but it would explain why we have yet to see any images of these two forthcoming Takara releases?

Because I'm not totaly sure yet if this is a sure thing, I have posted this as a rumour for now. As soon as we can verify this, we will change it to an official news item!

NuclearConvoy of the
Energon Pub has noticed an interesting new edition to Hasbros Official
Transfomers Collectors Club website. They have added a new side banner consisting of artwork of four Cybertron Transformers, a couple of which appear to the debut of a forthcoming figure and a repaint.
In the banner we can clearly see Clocker and Cybertron Defence Scattorshot in thier original colours, however the other two Transformers appear to be a repaint of Red Alert and a new Transformer possibly the prototype hovercraft TF we saw a while ago?
Could these be the first gimpses of forthcoming Hasbro Transformers, or Collectors Club exclusives? I guess we will have to wait and see. Check out the new side banner
here at the Transformers Collectors Club.

Japanese online retailer
Amenbo.com has posted two rather curious pre-orders on thier site (niether listing includes an image).
Binaltech Ginrai and BTA Black Convoy meets Melissa? Both toys share the Dodge Ram alt-mode, and Ginrai is clearly the BT version of the forthcoming
Alternators Optimus Prime, BTA Black Convoy being the typical Takara black repaint of Prime.
However it is rather curious that Prime is named Ginrai in the Binatech line and not Convoy. Ginrai was the name used for the Powermaster Optimus Prime moulds (with the extra Apex Armour AKA God Bomber) use in Japan as part of the Super God Masterforce series. Ginrai was not a Prime or Convoy at all although there was an obvious likeness.

Remy has posted an image supplied by EasyNet of a painted prototype of the forthcoming Beast Wars 10th Anniverary Dinobot
here!
As you can see he has a new colour scheme which is in some ways is more accurate to the Dinobot of Mainframe's Beast Wars CGI TV series. As with the other releases in this line Dinobot will come packaged with a DVD episode of Beast Wars and a part of the 6 part Transmutate figure.

Godsentdeath of the
2005 Boards has posted something that may please the UK-based collectors:
Apparently, a UK comic called Toxic is running a comp to win the full Cybertron line
"When it's released in January"
Since Megatron is specifically mentioned, it seems that it will be released in the UK market whereas some European countries
have (thus far at least) missed out on it.
No confirmation on what the 'full' UK line will be, but the time lapse follows the general lag that there was with Armada and Energon.
Cybertron is slowly being introduced to other European countries, plus Hasbro UK seems to confirm the date. With a US release of June, the UK follows the lag of 6 to 7 months that has plagued Europe with the previous lines.
Further confirmation of Cybertron imminent arrival on UK shores comes from this e-mail sent to
sumpner_kid by Hasbro UK in reply to the question "when will the Cybertron range be released in the UK?"
Thank you for your e-mail.
I have pleasure in confirming that this adventure will be released on UK product range in 2006.
However, you may find that some retailers may have stock prior to Christmas - please keep checking for stock availability.
Kind Regards
ASK HASBRO

As usual
Tformers.com have some info on the Galaxy Force episodes. This time some spoilers for the final episode.
It can be little bit unexpected but here are the spoilers:
Final Story - "The New Ambition"
At the end of a magnificent battle, Galaxy Convoy and Master Galvatron both fall after a final simultaneous blow to each other. As for Thundercracker who was thought to have been destroyed, has obtained the planet force. He absorbs the spark of Primus and revives into Lightning Cracker. With the Cybertron warriors nearly annihilated, only sub-commander Dreadrock remain to obstruct the path...

Tformers.com reports that the Takara BWR-01 set, which consists of show-accurate versions of the Ultra Optimus Primal and Megatron toys, may include a CD or DVD-ROM done in gold, to emulate the shape of the Golden Disk featured in the show. The disk itself may include lots of info about Beast Wars.

ChemNerd of
Supercow Import Toys has posted a new Takara-Tomy solicitation for a "BWR-01" Set, which appears to be a set of show accurate repaints and remoulds of the original Ultra Beast Wars figures Optimus Primal and Megatron, rather than the new moulds Hasbro have planned for thier 10 Anniverary line.
From the images below we can see each has a new head design. Optimus Primal now features a mouth and Megatron carries a more composed look similar to that of the recent Robot Masters moulds of these two characters.
Optimus Primal
Megatron
ChemNerd tells us set will sell for 7800 yen, which is roughly $65 US, and is scheduled for a February release.
