We thank chuckdawg1999 for sending us in this review of Rise of the Beasts Bumblebee Cyberverse Adventures Dinobots Unite Smash Changers Optimus Prime.

If you're reading this you probably know why, but let's focus on the toy, and what a toy it is. This is all gimmick, plain and simple, but the addition of a simple head swivel does give this figure the ability to emote a little. Now to be honest, on my copy of the figure the transforming gimmick worked about 3 out of 5 times, your mileage might vary but it's worth a mention. I really like the look of this Prime and I'm really excited for the rest of the Rise of the Beasts line.

Hey Chuck, I'm glad you got to review it first, I know you had anticipation for it. I hope you are ok with me newsing it in this thread since this toy is of 2 worlds and I almost preffer having a thread just for it here. Will probably do the same with the movie one steps once they get to shelves.
I did want to precise something. While Optimus Prime may have been designed to have an alt mode like this in the movie, I don't think it got past the design stage. Like with Slash from AOE, and Silver Optimus from AOE, I think it was dropped. Bumblebee will be the only one getting a body change.

Well we know there will be more toys that look like this, which makes me happy since I really like the design.
