There's no "Universal Studios Exclusive" sticker on the box, which all TF toys sold at Universal Studios have.

Because if that was the case, it would be in their system. Plus its a different price from universal studios, where its doulbe the price there, so the listing is wallgreens specific.

This is cool news! It's interesting though because it's a rather large toy for Walgreens to stock. They usually don't stock anything larger than Deluxe in Transformers.

Except they do sell larger toys as well as the wingspan and cloudraker 2 pack wich is slightly smaller than a voyager box

I'm pretty sure that's the price the Cyber Battalion guys were originally supposed to sell for too. Finally, they're good value!

You know what's kind of hilarious? That price point is cheaper than the $19.99 to $17.99 the TR Deluxes usually go for at Walgreens.
And it's a WAY bigger toy.

It's not always size. Comes down to production and part count.

Even if he may not have knee articulation, Jetfire is on my radar!

I hope these two aren't the only ones that make it to standard retail. The Megatron and Grimlock ones, in particular, would be nice.

Checked the only local Walgreens Friday and they had nothing (aside from two TR Triggerhappys and a ton of Kre-o blind bags). Hopefully I don't have to check the place too many times as this particular store is in a terrible location that's super hard to drive to being on a one way road off of a bridge requiring me to either come in from the other end of the city or make a huge circle around the store to get into it. It's so annoying! I really just want Prowl and either one of the big Prime's.

That sighting was for California. This one shows that they're beginning to show up outside that state too.

Just in case fans thought it was a fluke, we have growing reports of these simplified budget line Cyber Battalion figures. Like with every other toyline in the US, reports start in California and are slowly expanding from there, with reports found in Texas, Arizona and more. What is super fun though is that Jetfire and Prowl are not the only characters being found at the $16.99 price point. Fans have also found Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. Hot Rod, a fan on our Facebook page even posted an image of Walgreen's databse which shows 6 different figures, so hopefully that means either Starscream, Megatron or Grimlock will be coming too. Another facebook page fan, Nel, posted an image of his Jetfire purchase comparing him to some previous Jetfires.

Let us know in both your respective state sightings thread and in the sightings section if you find any in your area.

I'm still waiting to find Cloudraker and Wingspan at Walgreens. Has anyone else had any luck?

Not yet. I live close to one now and have a Fastclash I need to get rid of, so I was going to ask the same thing.

I'm just glad that Hasbro finally decided to give these figures a wider release. Beast Hunters deluxe Sinnertwin and Cutthroat and voyager 2 Predaking are some of my personal favorite toys to play around with. Battalion Starscream is also really cool too.

You guys keep spelling Walgreens wrong. There's only one L.

I don't know why I care, but this is the second or third headline to have it spelled incorrectly.

Ha, I never realized that. We dont have any walgreens in Canada so I don't deal with that place often. Thanks for letting me know, I wont make that mistake again

Can somebody explain to me why everybody is hyped up about the new TF line (example the new Jetfire here in the middle) Look closely at his lower arm. Its empty and open. That looks so cheap!

It's a huge state, so I'm sure some areas didn't get hit as bad as others. But some areas have a long road ahead of them to recovery.

This isn't the upcoming Cyberverse line, or whatever they're gonna call it now.

These are from the "Generations Cyber Series", a budget line with upscaled versions of older designs. It consists of the Cyber Battalion and the larger Cyber Commander classes, and until now, impossible to find in the US, being limited to Asia and oddly enough, Brazil.

That Megatron is a fan-customized version of Titans Return Megatron.

I really must remember to buy Jetfire and Prowl they go for about £20.00 on eBay at the moment.. which is a tricky price - just slightly to expensive to impulse buy - but not so expensive either.

I doubt they will show up in the UK unless somewhere like lidl gets them.
As I just know their toybuyer is gonna order the ugliest things they can find and not something someone would actually want - so likely more Titan changer PVCs.

I got Starscream and his KO already and I like those pretty much. I bet if someone had KO'd these with upper arm swivels and knees they'd have sold like gangbusters.

Just saw Jetfire, Optimus and Prowl at my Walgreens (Oregon)....almost bought Jetfire, but I already purchased deluxe Sqweeks earlier today. :p

One of my local Walgreen's updated their toy display. Titans Return deluxes are now off the pegs and on the shelf with these Cyber Series boxes right next to them.

The only thing I keep looking for is knee articulation. It's a great figure and it's got my son excited for more.

So, I headed into my local Walgreens looking for clones and saw the Generations Batttalion Series (based on receipt) Prowl and had no idea what these were. Then I saw OP and remembered the big bot looking like an upscale of the IDW looking Legends version. I think Prime was at one of the conventions. Anyway, I saw the price and thought there was no way I'm spending $20 for one of these.

Then I saw Jetfire.

*sigh*

Yeah, I'm a sucker for Jetfire (even having a not-great-condition G1 toy). He's neat, has a simple, yet satisfying transformation. And after getting Nitro in the mail the other day, I am enjoying this figure even more.

Now, is he worth the $20 price tag. Nope, not even close. I'd pay $7-$10 for these, tops. Still, only minor regret at getting him...

I saw BB, Prowl, and Jetfire at 2 different Walgreens. I wonder if others like Grimlock will make their shelves? Unfortunately no signs of the Clones 2 pack.

Was at Disneyland today and stopped by the Walgreen's across the street. They've got their Battalion figures priced at $19.99. :/

Bumblebee still looks off to me with a G1-style head but Movie/Prime body.

Even if I only get a shockwave at the level of the Optimus prime out of this, I'm happy.

Kinda disappointed they aren't including Megatron with the upcoming Cyber Battalion. Never found one of those. He seems to be the short packed character, and pretty much the only one I was truly interested in.

Got a couple. They're definitely cheaper plastic and design. Much less articulation. But as a plus, they are a decent size and make for a good representation of the character on the cheap if you just stand them on the shelf in the back. For instance, Jetfire looks pretty decent in both modes and is pretty big. Jet is almost as big as the recent main line one. But, yeah, he's still pretty bad.
