The Walmart exclusive Netflix Transformers Series Spoiler leader pack which includes Rung, some energon cubes in putty and a crispier version of Siege leader Ultra Magnus has been found at Walmart by The Real Magnus P.I. (what an apropos username). It was specifically found in Utah and the price was just a few pennies shy of $60.
The deluxes were also found. This particular sighting come from the Queen City, Cincinnati, and was posted on the forums of Allspark.com.
If you want to see more pictures of them, you can check out the article we published yesterday.

It's Rung in spoilerific colors, IIRC.

It's the story spoilers printed in Cybertronian text on the inside of the box.

Yeah, but do we know exactly what that is though? Has that text in full been reported anywhere online?

Yep, it's a teaser for how the Netflix series is going to pan out, with major spoilers for the entire run. The spoiler itself is easily seen when one looks at the deco Magnus was given.
Disappointment.

How pissed would you be if you found out this Chromia has a combiner peg?

Honestly, it would make me want her more because there would be more than just dirt effects to distinguish her from the Siege version

Me too. But I would be a bit upset about buying the previous version, which could have had the peg just as easily.Lore Keeper wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:The SS voyager Megatrons are silver. They're brighter than Netflix Megatron.

Actually I'd be ecstatic. I didn't purchase the previous version for that very reason, and I need one more Autobot to complete the Inferno combiner.... But we know it doesn't , as stated so, Meh....
I'm only interested in the Battle Masters from Hotlink, Megatron, and Ultra Magnus (not the toys themselves), haven't seen any sold separately on eBay yet, but if I find the toys in stores first, I'll just purchase them, and sell the toys separately.

You don't want Hotlink? But he's soooo pretty!

Regarding Chromia not having a combiner peg... She doesn't have one for the same reason that SIEGE toys larger than Battle Masters don't have ball joints except in the neck: The C.O.M.B.A.T. system. The central peghole for a combiner appendage wouldn't have played nice with the pegholes in both feet + ankle rockers required for the C.O.M.B.A.T. gimmick. Without that central peghole, she wouldn't be able to function as a limb, and so a combiner peg would be pointless.

Meanwhile on the pool table...
Crosshairs: So Trenchfoot, um, sorry pal, but this means you'll have to find another partner.
Sad Trenchfoot: Um hey guys, is it okay if I join back up with your crew again? I really suck at aiming myself.
Grand Slam: *shrugs*
G2 Sideswipe: Sure, Hasbro didn't give me my rifle, I'm sure you and I will get along fine.
Not Lionizer Anymore: Um hey fellas, any chance you could use a sword-cat? I also seem to need a new name, any thoughts?
G2 Sideswipe: Sure, I'm all for more weapons. Welcome aboard, I shall call you Frostbiter.
And there resolves the partnering and duplicate names/bots from buying the Netflix Megatron set that I was originally going to pass on, but my lack of impulse control bought anyway yesterday when I saw them in hand.

The final wave of the Siege Micromasters proved to be a hard to find wave, as there were very few sightings and even fewer online listings. This wave consists of the Battle Squad (Direct-hit and Power Punch) and the highly sought after Soundwave Spy Patrol 2 (Ratbat and Rumble). The listing on Entertainment Earth is for both sets, and is listed as $19.99, which is retail price for the wave. You will need to pay shipping, as Entertainment Earth shipping is only free on in-stock orders over $79, but it is far better than paying ebay prices for these guys.
Check out the listing, and let us know if you pre-order these guys and finally secure them below!

Although in the Headmasters Anime, he did have a yellow visor, like Trenchmouth. But the added white ties the latter specifically to Covert Clone (aka G2) Sideswipe.

But in terms of color placement and significant features. I honestly don't pay attention to the differences between the gun dudes except for transformation, and by extent of that the peg location, and the number of barrels.

There's a difference in transformation as well: Trenchfoot faces down in gun mode, Pinpoint faces up

With some I don't really see how it can be done without them easily breaking, losing accessories, or have the barrels not interfere.

Also, "Without losing accessories" isn't a valid argument here because one of the big factors in the SIEGE Battle Masters' divergence was having the ability to pop the barrels off and stick them to the Battle Master's arm. Which to me makes it extra-annoying that they messed up Blowpipe by referencing the Legends version, since his original design partsformed already and would only have needed minor changes .

These figures aren't for us not to mention that they are better painted then the Siege ones even if they have more "battle damage" there was still more effort put into them.
While the paintjobs being good is subjective, I would absolutely not call the Netflix figures Lazy, these are the characters in the show they will not be brand new characters.
Decepticon Mirage and Scrapface exist probably due to reasons in the show.

About that. It's this.-Kanrabat- wrote:A targetmaster

So you're wrong here.-Kanrabat- wrote:So that's 12$can in extra charge.
40 + 8 + 8 = 56, so the extra charge only amounts to 4$can. Which is probably accounted for by the metallic paintjob on Megs.
I may be entirely too amused by that clip.
Might still be right about this part though.-Kanrabat- wrote:Paying this much is usually not something a parent is willing to pay for little Timmy's toy.

So the overcharges would "only" be 4$. So what? That's still a overcharge. Normally with box set of multiple figures, it's supposed to be a deal. Buying the box set should be more worth it than buying figures separately. For example the rainmaker box set is 100$can normally and the voyagers are 40$can normally. So that's 20$can saved if you buy the set full price. So just imagine if the box set would have gone "full Netflix" and cost 140$can. Not sure if the box set would have as much success as it had.
And no, paint is not an excuse because the SS Damaged Megatron, 07 Megatron, Leader Grimlock and Shockwave were all painted to the gills and were the same price as the rest.

I think it's just cuz Hasbro likes rounding to the nearest number ending in 0 a lot of the time when it comes to multipacks like this. Whether that's rounding down, like with the US price for these Netflix Voyagers ($40, when individually it'd be $30+$6+$6=$42) or rounding up (like with the US price for the Siege Amazon Skywarp and Sideswipe/Slamdance packs, which were both $50, when individually they'd be $30+$6+$6+$6=$48 and $20+$20+$6=$46 respectively).
Hasbro just likes these to be rounded to multiples of ten. Sometimes that means we pay less than the sum of its parts, sometimes it means we pay more.

We already know that there are two waves of these with five more Deluxes coming, we just don't know who. The last five should include two floor pieces, a back wall, and two back corner walls.
Instead of battle damaged repaints I wish they had followed Scrapface's and Mirage's lead and either do repaints or new characters with the other three. I'm thinking Tigertracks, Titan Hunter Chromia (deco only, not in name), and either Detritus, Ironfist, or Rollbar (in Alternators orange as his own characters, maybe a new name). Do we know if Scrapface is even in the cartoon?

Are they guarenteed deluxes? Cause I'd be surprised if we didn't get an Optimus. Detritus would be an amazing figure to see, though if we do see him, I'd want to see the gimmick that Doubledealer has where he can "swap sides". Or give the Mercs a unique faction symbol design

That literally derails the entire point of the line, this is the Netflix line based off the characters in the show, there is most certainly no Tigertracks or Ironfist in the show itself so why would this line ever use them?
If Decepticon Disguise Mirage (confirmed somewhere that this is only a disguise for Mirage) is in the line then there is a likely purpose to it in the show which probably has to do with the subplot of recruiting Impactor to the Autobots, if Scrapface is in the line over Refraktor who themselves are in the show then I'm sure Scrapface is in the show as well because it wouldn't make sense to make up a whole new character with a new Deco if they had nothing to do with the Netflix show.

The first wave was 1 leader, 2 voyagers and 5 deluxes. The second wave will be 5 deluxes for sure to complete teletran, and likely 2 more voyagers and another leader.
