While there are several figures found recently in Canada that have yet to hit the US, there are others that are really late.
We'll start with those. The Studio series deluxe wave that includes Offroad Bumblebee, Shatter and Roadbuster has been found at brick and mortar retail. They were found at Walmarts across the country with the specific sighting below coming from Montreal, Canada.
The voyager wave with Sentinel Prime has yet to be seen and the previous voyager wave with Mixmaster was never spotted at big box retail (just Amazon and briefly EB Games). So if any of you Canadians spot those voyagers at Walmart or Toysrus, let us know.
There have been many new sightings for Earthrise. All the following come from boards posts on Cybertron.ca.
Skylynx was found in an Ontario EB Games by AgeofTransformers. They also found leader class Doubledealer at Walmart.
Rung and Slitherfang were found in an Ontario Walmart by Transbot90210.
A collectable store found in Ottawa and Montreal called CMD got their shipments for Earthrise Scorponok and Skylynx as well. That was reported by Huasotron 75.

Solipsist wrote:I often read on this site that so and such was found at stores in Australia or Canada. That is great for persons that live there. BUT I rarely ever see any Transformers at my local Walmart (or anywhere else) here in Florida. If I really want to get a certain figure I have to order from an online seller. The so called, "Brick and Mortar stores", here have very few TF figures. I wonder if other U.S. States have this issue or if it is just Florida.
Being Canadian, a Canadian sighting doesn't mean much when the damn things never appear in my town. So you're not alone in this.

Solipsist wrote:Thank you for your reply. It's kinda nice to know its not just happening in Florida. I mean it is depressing but "misery loves company" as the old saying goes.
Of all those sightings, the only one I saw at my Canadian Walmart were the studio series figures which were already released in the US months ago. So we are all in the same boat.

Ultra Mad wrote:Still haven't bought from Mandarake even though some people suggested it at a Transformers panel last years at Montreal Commicon. I might give it a try because SS Bumblebee Optimus is crazy expensive on secondary market. And I really want him.
Maybe it was ME, who suggested it to you.
So far, Mandarake is custom free as long that you don't use DHL. But due to the COVID bullcrap, packages are delivered extremely slowly.
Just in case, the SAHRA store is the only one that give you the shipping cost up front. Use it to estimate the cost of shipment for the other stores. And of course, combined shipping work only in single stores.
Finally, EVERYTHING is "packaged damaged" to avoid the OCD mint-collectors. If there's a real issue with the condition, it will be stated. If the thing you want is out of stock, you can always put it in your alert list and hope for the best! I got a few things this way.
I think I spent THOUSANDS at Mandarake on so many things!
Anyway, if you get shafted in finding things in Canada, you can import them from them at very low risk:

Preoeders at only 55$CAN. It's a pretty damn good price for a leader, especially for an online store.

Very few remain so if you have any interests, hurry up!

MPM Starscream at Toys R Us Laval, QUEBEC!!!!
For 230$CAN plus taxes.
Plus, full restock if Siege voyagers at full price.
EDIT:
MPM Starscream is now available online for 230$CAN plus taxes. Of course, Quebec is treated as a second class province. At least as you can see above, it's possible to find it randomly live in store anyway.

I'm not rich enough to squirrel some though.

You really think any of that is worth our time. I saw it too and said nope. But, Cyberverse Ultimate Class Optimus Prime for 10$ at Walmart was definitely worth the bet.

My Walmart is crap in holding any inventory.
Oh, and my local TrU have an army or "fast action battlers" "deluxe" Splitstream at 10$ for some reasons.
Same TrU now have at least 10 of that 100$ RiD 1-steps boxset. Where they are all coming from?

Blaster is available online and even ship to Quebec! Hear that, Toys R Us?
For the very reasonable price of 40$CAN, meaning the same price as your standard voyager.

Canada has caught up on most sightings found in the US, such as the second wave of Earthrise deluxes now at Walmart. And speaking of Walmart, we even have some firsts such as the ultimate sized Cyberverse Battle Call figures, which feature Bumblebee in a Gypsy Danger mask.

Now FULL RESTOCK of Siege figures at FULL PRICE.

Anyway, that "legend/scout/core" sized "MP-01" Optimus Prime, the 2017 Platinum Year of the Rooster one, is on rollback at 80$CAN.
https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/transforme ... 0196611276
Having money to burn, I'd be kinda tempted but even at 80$, it's still too much for this primitive collector item.
Maybe on Black Friday the deal will be sweeten?

Another exclusive found recently is Gigawatt from the Transformers Collaborative Back to the Future Mash-Up. It was found at EB Games for $59.99 CAD. That specific sighting was first posted on Cybertron.ca.
Posted by First-Aid on November 12th, 2020 @ 10:28am CST
I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a Gigawatt today.
I may also be able to get hockey autographs in exchange.

In other Toysrus news, a new sales starts tomorrow where Siege Micromasters and the "Target Exclusive" RID One Step multi pack are %50 off. While that particular set is from years ago, Toysrus has been getting large quantities of it the past month. Makes you wonder what else is being forgotten in warehouses.

You ok paying 60$ for this? Isn't he cheaper in the US?
Posted by -Kanrabat- on November 18th, 2020 @ 11:16pm CST
Also, 45$ on that RiD 1step box set is a fair price. And the price that should have been from the very start for old overstock "nobody wanted".
Posted by Bouncy X on November 19th, 2020 @ 6:44pm CST
so all i had to do was visit toys r us? damn.
as for pricing, its the same price as EB and thats also what Ectotron cost so its not surprising. i mean neither are "worth" that much and shoulda been 40 or less but i'm sure the licensing was one issue and canada just sucks for pricing with this sorta stuff.
that said, the figure is really cool and i dont regret it, he's way smaller than i expected and he looks so tiny next to Ectotron in robot form but yeah....i love both!!
i have no interest in the x-men crossover figure but it looks cool too.
here's hoping they do Knight Rider eventually...i mean they can do KITT and KARR to represent each faction!! the possibilities are endless!!

But Ectotron is a voyager, this is a deluxe.

TOO MUCH ENERGON! wrote:Gigwatt? Aren’t those supposed to be like super limited?
No more limited than any other figures. Even the "exclusively" is relative. And for the regular price they go for, these are basically unscalpable.
That is, unless a store pull a Target and clearance the thing at 75% off 3 weeks after it's release.

I call fake news.
Heck, you can stiff find Ectotron in stores today and they'll even re-release him with some differences in paint for the upcoming movie.
So, no need to buy from a scalper.

People don't read carefully enough. They said the initial stock would only be 5000 units followed by a wider release later. What you are looking at is most probably the wider release.

Both Toysrus and Walmart have massive sales... on last year's items. Most of these are Siege toys that were just recently restocked, meaning there was a ton left over accumulating dust in a warehouse. In Toysrus, the Siege voyagers (anyone want another Siege Megatron?) are shy of $20 while Siege deluxes (how about another Chromia?) are shy of $15 at Walmart. The Cyberverse armoured figures are also $15 at Walmart while Toysrus is selling their newly restocked Siege leaders for $35.
These deals are only available in store at the moment since the limited online stock sold out instantly.

Regardless, Canadian Black Friday suck major ass.
The American online retailers are no better. TF Source and BBTS have the same old, same old on sale. Often just at 10% off. Big woop.
Meh. More money saved by not buying anything.

Deluxe for $19.99
Scouts for $9.99
1 Steps for $7.99
Battlecall Officer Class for $49.99
Also, the Netflix deluxe wave 2 toys were found in British Columbia and Alberta.

Oh well... That's also why I finally decided to get Deluxe Bee, Optimus, and Megs. Bee being passable, the other two being marvelous.
