You a can round out your Defensor with TWO Grooves - one on the body, one on the chest! It's metaphysical!

I do wish they'd sell things like G2 Groove, G2 Alpha Bravo, G2 Off Road and Missing Leo Kieser team members as some sort of Dark Energon like exclusive wave. As I have mentioned before I also think a upgrade piece could be made to convert many of the combiner wars bots into Seacon style Targetmasters too. Using their foot plate as a base to stand on and providing a cannon and handle part so they can be hand held by combiners and Leader class toys.
Such an addition justifies the extra team mates a lot more too.

I never even saw Rook in stores... I wasn't even collecting them at the time, I'm still kicking myself for not getting the Stunticons and at least Blast Off of the Combaticons, my gut said I should have when I saw them

I like having the outliers as part of the team for extra support or as a sub. I just need one for Bruts and I'll be all set

Rook is just such a great toy, and when I can collect to my heart's content again I might get BC OP, Prowl, CW Groove (if I can find one for non-rape prices) and add some policey details to my Alpha Bravo, and have a police/black and white combiner.
Get yourself to HTS for CW Groove at the original price before its too late!

No good. UK resident I'm afraid, even if they shipped here the shipping would cost a fortune.

Due to her bio and base mold basically making her Blades But Also A Girl, I decided to end up characterising her as a sort of gun-for-hire before she became the Torchbearer she is today. A bounty hunter who you'd pay to take on some of the harder jobs; a bit like Samus.
... though without the same moral compass as Samus.
She ain't taking care of no baby metroids. A swordswoman with a large skill level - and an equally large sword - who'd take down Cybertronians but wouldn't discriminate between innocent and guilty. Until, well, one fateful day.

Death, you disappoint me. I thought you were supposed to be *impartial* .
Anywho... My misfit Autobot combiner is 80% complete. (Battlecore Optimus, Alpha Bravo, Rook, & Smokescreen). The 7th bonus figure from TFCC 5.0 will hopefully finish it. Unless its a Decepticon, in which case I am really up the creek.
My Misfit Decepticon combiner is 60% complete (CW Vortex & Blastoff for the arms, and Offroad for one leg). Grand Scourge will be the body and BC 2016 Terrorsaur the other leg if I can ever find them at a reasonable price.

CW Computron does have some problems in the looks department, thanks to being 3/5 straight redecos. Afterbreaker and Strafe look inspired by their G1 counterparts, and Scattershot too to an extent. Nosecone and Lightsteed lose out by not having new head, looking like a brown and yellow Brawl and red Streetwise instead. The torso still looks like Superion in sculpt.

Yes, and I will say why, its those wings. That plastic is different from every other plastic used in this line. Its that softer lighter plastic similar to what was found on the 2012 generations toys that I wished would never resurface. But its back because those wings to have thin and pointy bits. I would have much preferred the plastic used on Cyclonus.

Yes, and the flexible plastic is on both Hasbro and TT versions. Unfortunately Hasbro decided to paint the wings as well, so I'm going to assume the paint will flake of over time with the flexing of the wings.

I'm actually really, really angry at CW/UW. Thanks to them, all the good 3Ps have decided "People won't buy CHUG scaled 3P combiners anymore, let's switch to MP scale!". Now I have nothing against MP scale (I'm not Rated X) but it isn't what I collect. So basically, unless I switch to collecting MPs (which isn't happening), or MakeToys/some other equally high-quality CHUG-centred company makes the rest of the combiners I want (namely Bruticus and Superion) I'm not going to be able to have acceptable quality combiners in my preferred scale- and there's no chnace of the crazier combiners (like Megatronia) getting good 3P efforts. And given HasTak's incompetence/the state of the Western toy market, we're not going to get CHUG scale official combiners again for another decade, and if we do they'll probably be even worse.
So thanks a smegging bunch, HasTak, your awful penny-pinching on material quality and undeserved dominance of the market has doomed my collection. Please go bankrupt soon you incompetent hacks. Maybe when the license is available to everyone, someone with actual talent will tackle combiners, and I'll finally have good high-end CHUG scale representations of them.
I'm sorry, I'm still furious over the sad demise of my UW Computron. Thus ends the rant.

I think I mentioned that I also have some bad luck with figures. I have UW Superion and had some issues with one of the limbs and torso when in bot mode. Basically for one of the limbs (can't remember which), one of the shoulders refused to stay in place. For Silverbolt, because of where some of the parts tab in, the paint chipped away very quickly. Luckily Toy Dojo has awesome customer service and they sent me replacements. The limb replacement was fine but the Silverbolt still had minor chipped paint. But the kicker? The new Silverbolt didn't have a head for Superion. It was somehow missing. So I had to send both back and they were able to swap out the heads so I could have a complete Silverbolt.
Man, I've been a little busy and lazy, so I still haven't opened my UW Computron. Not sure I'll get to it tonight as MP SW arrives, and that's a character I've wanted since I was a kid... Fingers crossed when I open it later this week probably.

You know the plastic used on my Streetwise has practically the exact same feel. Combined with that, the floppiness, and the deco he's my least favorite CW deluxe after Brawl. Man I don't like Brawl.

I too dislike him, and hes the one who gave me the biggest qc issue with the hand breaking from the hole it was pegged in while in arm mode. The reason I dislike Brawl is enough for me to stay away from Liokaiser. But I also have a great dislike for Breakdown.

Breakdown, at least to me, isn't really bad, it's just...average. My Wheeljack has a slightly floppy ratchet joint, but is otherwise good QC-wise, and I kinda like him as a gestalt arm, if only for the

Jumpstream's robot mode just looks so bad. The arms are all gangly, her legs are boxey and the way they're connected to the waist doesn't help... ugh. It's just a really dreadful robot no matter what way I look at it.
Still, they're not the worst toys ever - in both cases, their leg and vehicle modes are just fine. And while those being the only two good modes would be frustrating for an individual figure... for a combiner, if one figure's a dud but they make a fine leg, I can't spend a long time complaining about it. If it's a crap robot, whatever, just as long as you can make Bruticus and Victorion look as awesome as they do.
Victorion should have had two same-mold jets instead of two different cars
