At the moment of writing, every figure from the first wave of Transformers Studio Series wave 1 is on Amazon at their suggested retail prices. That includes the sought after leaders Blackout and Grimlock.
With the common distribution woes, many fans have opted to go online so hopefully this helps. They are bound to sell quickly. For those looking for them at brick and mortar, friend to the site Scottimus Prime has found the DCPI numbers for target (which are good for the entire line) and they are: 087-065842 (leader), 087-065840 (voyager), 087-065835 (deluxe). This can be used on brickseek to see if there are any in stock.
And now, here are the amazon listings:
Transformers Studio Series 08 Leader Class Movie 1 Decepticon Blackout 49.99
Transformers Studio Series 07 Leader Class Movie 4 Grimlock 49.99
Transformers Studio Series 06 Voyager Class Movie 1 Starscream 29.99
Transformers Studio Series 05 Voyager Class Movie 2 Optimus Prime 29.99
Transformers Studio Series 04 Deluxe Class Movie 1 Autobot Ratchet 19.99
Transformers Studio Series 02 Deluxe Class Movie 3 Decepticon Stinger 19.99
Transformers Studio Series 01 Deluxe Class Movie 1 Bumblebee 19.99
Transformers Studio Series 03 Deluxe Class Movie 3 Crowbar 19.99

Of note, I saw that leader Blackout is currently the #1 seller in action figures on amazon.

Really glad to see that whole series is available on Amazon. My Grimlock and Blackout from Hasbrtoyshop.com are on FedEx truck for delivery as we speak. Saving $15 is nice. I would have bought this morning on Amazon had I not snagged Monday.

I would rather have that than Thundercracker to be honest.
Not that I'll ever see Thundercracker.

dang... that scene with Prime and Bones was awesome and a decade later we still can't reproduce it well with figures.
can a 3P/KO company upscale the deluxe (with some improvements) if nothing else?

Demolishor was completely different than any other bot in the movies and he was huge! It would go great with the new Voyager prime but since he is a decepticon from the most hated movie it probably won't ever happen (for the record rotf is my favorite).
A two headed ksi shockwave clone wouldn't be too hard for Hasbro to make. Just make some sort of tr compatible two head attachment but that is also a pipe dream. Thundercracker is cool enough I guess but the only reason I will buy him is that it's the last toys r us exclusive.

I got all excited and googled it but it turns out the only one i can find is a leader class sized one which looks nice but is far too big (and expensive) to scale with Studio Series and is why I asked for voyager. Dangit.
Oh well, hopefully my Starscream arrives tomorrow.

Grimlock was going for $49.99 which with conversion and postage/import duty to ireland he came out as €63.84.
bog standard leaders here (like sixshot for instance) when they DID turn up retailed for €60 euro so im well happy with snagging him at near that.
cause i can tell you one thing, he WONT turn up at retail here and amazon.co.uk is looking for over a hundred euro for the lad.
ive spread the word to fellow irish fans so more can take advantage of this.

We haven't seen Deluxe Bee Movie Bumblebee, Voyager Ironhide, or Voyager RotF Starscream with the marks all over his jet mode. Ironhide is supposed to be wave 3 in September and Screamer is wave 4 in November. Bee was supposed to be wave 1, but where the movie got pushed back to December there's most definitely a Deluxe wave 3 and 4 since they wouldn't put that figure in wave 2. Plus a Japanese retailer order list included two more unnamed leaders. So the line is definitely running to the end of the year and there's likely several figures we haven't seen yet. No Voyager Bonecrusher, though. Not in 2018 anyway. If the line continues into 2019, you never know.

That's a relief. Aside from wanting Bonecrusher like everyone else, my real dream toy would be a figure of 1st movie Megatron. That design was always my favorite and no toy ever came close to doing it justice.

What but if one of the 2 remaining leaders is Bonecrusher??
Not gonna happen most likely due to robot scale, but he could pull a Blackout and just be a very dense/filled out leader that's shorter

Blackout's advantage is that while his head height is't tall, he has that massive rotor assembly over his head that adds greatly to the figure's height. The Buffalo that Bonecrusher is based on isn't nearly as big and his bot mode isn't nearly as bulky at blackout. The figure should be shorter than Optimus in bot mode so Voyager is probably best just to give him a big alt mode.

I’d say he’s panel moderate, but they fold up and are hidden pretty well in bot mode. I did struggle for a while trying to line up his panels in alt mode, but once I got them all in place, and holding, it was worth it. That helicopter mode is gorgeous. If he had a peg hole on the bottom, I would honestly just display him in alt mode. Luckily his bot mode is a lot better, and more articulated than I was expecting. To me, Blackout and Starscream are the real standouts in this line so far.

I can't say much about Mudflap as I don't own him, but ROTF Skids is a pretty decent figure, and par for the course of what we could expect from a Studio Series. If they did do them I'd be happy with a more movie-accurate redeco of their first molds.
Personally I'm wanting a good SS Sideways and Dino. Sideways because his design was cool and the Audi R8 is my mum's favourite car, and Dino because that one 3P toy was a disaster. Shame unless Mattel goes up that we'll not get him with a licensed Ferrari mode though...

Firage? What was wrong with it? I saw good reviews and only had to cancel mine cos of other unexpected expenses.
And Sideway's RotF Deluxe is still pretty darn nice in my opinion. Maybe it could be slightly more accurate if it had the Audi license but I really like the mold and have the Dead End retool. Nice transformation and looks great in both modes. If Hasbro did decide to do a new one I'd like to see it, but if they have no plans at all it wouldn't bother me in the slightest as the old toy is just fine.

Does look excellent. I will likely be picking him up at some point when I can afford it and only after I got Grimlock first. I want these Leader figures to be in the center of my Studio Series shelf on their respective faction sides of it.

I bloody love it. Already started that I was very fond of the DotM deluxe figure but calling this a simple upscaling would not do this figure justice. Additions to the transformation are extra pieces that fold out to fill in the sides of his torso which are appreciated. This figure blows the old voyager Starscreams away with ease.
Oh and I love they've put a flight stand port into his crotch bit, not so much for the robot mode obviously but it ends up in perfect place for the jet mode.
